In efforts to promote agricultural development in Brunei, promoting agriculture to Bruneian youth is very important. This study aims to analyse the current efforts to promote agriculture literacy in schools and higher institutions in Brunei Darussalam. Thus, this research seeks to achieve two main objectives: What are the institutions and schools that offer agriculture; and how agricultural literacy efforts are integrated into academic curricular content. We use in-depth interview methods with the respective organisation to examine the current efforts and challenges they are facing. The result from the interview revealed that the efforts have been put in place, however, the lack of teachers to teach agriculture subjects is the main hindrance that needs to be tackled and requires immediate solutions. These results indicate that it is important to offer agriculture at Bachelor Degree level so that more agriculture graduates can be produced and absorbed to be the teachers.
