The aims of this research to determine response of growth and leaf chloropyll in black rice (Oryza sativa L. Indica) are induced by gamma ray to drought stress conditiom. This research was conducted in July-November 2020. The field research was carried out in the experimental field (plastic house) on Medicinae Street, UNS housing, Jati Village, Jaten District, Karanganyar Regency.  The chlorophyll test was done at Plant Tissue Culture and Biotechnology Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas of Sebelas Maret. This research used a field trial design without repetition. The research treatments used were 24 genotypes, including 10 genotypes of 100 gray  gamma ray irradiation and 2 control genotypes, 10 genotypes of 200 gray gamma ray irradiation and 2 control genotypes. The result showed that the plant height variable had a lower irradiation plant value rather then control-01.The crown root ratio showed that irradiation  plant had higher mean value than control plant. The leaf chlorophyll in the irradiation plant at 100 gy showed a higher value than control plants., meanwhile at 200 gray showed  that control plants had a higher value irradiation plant.
