Firewood waste is a discarded item, and some people use it as a substitute for stoves or cooking utensils for both industrial and household needs. Pollution from firewood smoke affects the air ecologically, especially environmental pollution and will reduce the oxygen we breathe. The authors get creative ideas by utilizing firewood waste into ecological works of art to reduce air pollution, reduce global warming which results in climate change. Research uses a qualitative method, which aims to gain a deep understanding program directed at the creative process in response to environmental damage and educating the public in cultivating sensitivity to protecting the natural environment. Eco-art become a new concept to relevant program and one of the answers to environmental problems and at the same time reintroducing Indonesian culture, especially puppet characters to the public. Visually, the ecoart design from firewood waste is represented in the form of a buto character to the public.
