This study aims to examine the appearance of the DNA banding pattern resulting from the selection of RAPD primers on Phaius spp. namely Phaius tankervillae, Phaius montanus Phaius collasus and Phaius amboinensis, the research material was taken from the orchid collection in the Bogor Botanical Gardens. The analysis was carried out at the Laboratory of the Center for Horticultural and Tropical Studies IPB using RAPD. 2 primers RAPD OPA 13 and OPB 18 can be used for DNA ampliļ¬cation oforchids Phaius spp (Phaius tankervillae, Phaius montanus Phaius collasus and Phaius amboinensis) because they produce clear DNA bands, these primers can produce clear DNA bands and amplify as many as 10 DNA bands with 100% polymorphism.
